I got a fantastic deal on this gong drum... But i needed it to match my kit.

A friend does custom paint on hotrods, motorcycles and just about anything really.

He matched it up perfectly.

It’s a Decade kit.

The lighting in the pics is horrible, but the gong matches perfectly. I need to take better pics.





I haven’t decided what cymbals i’m getting just yet, but i’m starting on those pretty soon.

Can you show me the inside of the mounts? I just had a 20x14 acrylic shell built to go with my crystal beats, I'm in a bit of a pickle because I didnt think ahead about the logistics of mounting the damn thing.
Did you drill two big holes in the shell?

It already was a gong drum. The holes were drilled and brackets installed by the factory. He just refinished the drum to match his kit.
