I bought a five piece Session Custom Classic shell pack a little over a year ago.
Long story short, l added my own touches such ad black Masters lugs and hardware on the bass and toms. I also added Premier die cast hoops to the toms, plus a rims style mount . For the snare l am using Chad Smith Ill. I just bought the third Chad Smith sig snare in my years of drum gear pack rattery. I love this snare and have always referred to them as the Pearl equivalent to the Ludwig Acrolite.
This is my first birch drum kit and l am really having a lot of fun tinkering, tweaking, but most of all, playing them.
