After many config attempts with the HUGE Prestige Session kit I acquired last February, I finally settled on this favorite set up. Believe it or not, the 18" floor tom conversion is really doing it for me over the 22" that came with the kit and holds its own in both tone AND volume! It sounds amazing and I can easily see myself playing out with this kick as long as it's mic'ed in an outside environment. Feast your eyes on the 8,10,12,16 toms complimented by the 13" timbale off the hi-hat stand, 18X16 kick and massive 8X14 Luddy Supralite snare. I minimized my preference for kick mounted toms by using a single non-penetrating Pearl tom holder for my 10 and 12 toms. One of the BIGGEST advantages to utilizing an 18" kick is having a nice low tom placement which I've always preferred...

I've got these to sell. There's a second kick too. I was hoping to do a conversion on the 18 but never got to it in the 5 years I've had them. Great sounding drums.
