Sweet looking kit there. are the 8-10-12 side toms all the same depth?

I bought the 5 piece shell pack and hardware package offered by Sweetwater.com with the 10x8 and the 12x9 rack, 14x14 and 16x16 free floor toms with the 22x16 kick. I then found the 8x8 rack tom and the 14x8 snare at Percussion King. The Steve Ferrone snare I found used (in ok shape) from Guitar Center all the way across the country from me in Atlanta Georgia. Most every cymbal was bought through Americanmusical.com in Sabian Cymbal packs. except the 17" FRX and the 16" crash.

Sure that tom is 10x8? All the SSS configs with a 10 are 10x7 from Pearls specs....my kit is 8x7, 10x7, 12x8, 14x14, 16x16, 20x14, 22x16....don't get me wrong - I'm stoked you picked one up - hands down the best value/sounding kit in Pearls lineup.....

I think PD confused the numbers a bit, SSS side toms are:

8x7 STS0807T
10x7 STS1007T
12x8 STS1208T
13x9 STS1309T

So the 12" is 1" deeper than the 10" and 8" toms, which is what I was trying to figure out.

Just hesitating because I've got 3 other sets in my music room right now, but I think I NEED these Going to sell my Gretsch Renown Maple kit to make room I think.

Very nice kit, the finish sort of looks like number 141 red mahogany. That was the color of my old MHX kit.

I pulled the trigger! Hoping they get delivered today as it was confirmed on the Sweetwater site when I placed the order, but the tracker shows possibly Monday. It is going to be a GREAT weekend if they come today. It is going to be LONG weekend if I have to wait for Monday!

SOOO...I love them so far. They arrived last Monday and I unboxed them, drooling over the beautiful Crimson Burst finish. And then....had to leave to go out of town for the rest of the week. Finally got to set them up over the weekend, and am in the process of tweaking the set-up and tuning them. My music room (basement) is quite crowded and it's difficult to get good pics - but will post a few soon.
