Any users of new Session Studio here ?

Hi !

I'm thinking of getting small traveling set with 20" kick. I tried lot of 16 and 18" kicks but still it feels & sounds small to me.
I consider a shell pack of SSC 20,10,12,14 in Ivory Pearl as it is sooo classy. Looked & listened to all YouTube vids.
Any user opinion about SSC ?

I'm not sure I'd be crazy about the shallower toms but I'd have a Session in a heart beat. If that's what you're leaning toward I'd say don't let anything stop you.

I'd prefer 20x14 kick but - shallow toms works for me

I absolutely love my Session Studio Classic. I have the 20"x16" kick with the 12"x8" rack and 16"x14" floor. I tune low and sit low, lol.

I really like the looks of this kit. Very classy indeed. Piano black goes with everything.

Should also be noted that my kit has Masters series satin hardware.

I really like the white, red, and flat amber colors from the Session Studio Classic line as well. I really like something simple and understated with chrome hardware.

Since they were introduced days ago, I bet no one has the new SSC with birch/mahogany shells. However, I predict you will really like a thin birch/mahogany 20" kick. Try and EMAD batter on it and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I wrote it really week before namm, and it was about ssc not the new one but thanks 😄 Tomorrow I'm placing order for birch mahogany shell pack with 20" kick
