Anyone know where I can find a 16x13 Pearl Session SBX Tom?

So I recently started using my Pearls again, and I really want to expand on the floor tom side. I've contacted Pearl and though they have the shells and paint to do it, they no longer carry the badges. The only option I have at the moment is going through the masterworks line, and I'd really prefer not to spend 1200.00 on a tom . Thank you

Thanks for the quick reply. I was told by Pearl that they could still do SMX because they had the badges, but not the SBX because they no longer carried them. I will give them a try though. Thank you!

That accords with my experience. I have tried to go through many channels, but no luck with SBX (in vintage wine).

so sad . I'm thinking I'm going to buy a vision birch and just change all the hardware from some of the spare toms. and well I guess I'm gonna try to paint it myself too! lol Thanks for the response

Hmmmm. Or just get a new kit and get all the parts you need

Actually A Masters Studio Birch would be closer to a shell match than a vision Birch Good luck

I used to own a Smx in green Burst & a Sbx in Vintage Wine. At that time you could order matching floor toms . I recently sold a EXR from that time early 2000's with the same issue I couldn't find a Matching 16" floor Tom . Two days after It was sold one appeared on eBay. What are the odds ? Don't give up !

I actually did get an add on tom. But I only got one at the time, thinking I could easily get more later when I had spare cash. Incorrect.

lol that's what scares me too! I'm keeping the hope alive. I just really like this finish and for some reason the new studio classics don't sell on me too well.
