Nice. Crashes are a little high for me, but still looks fun to play.

Where did you get that rug? It looks like the perfect option to carpet the top of my homemade drum riser. (It's roughly 6'x7')

Also nice to see I'm not the only one to map out their kit with tape

      Thanks!

Actually, the crashes are much lower than they appear. I shot most of these pics from an elevated angle to capture the best parts of the kit. I don’t like having to stretch any more than necessary to reach my stuff.

As far as the tape goes…I need to pull it up and lay down some new strips to match up with my new stand positions. I’m kinda OCD like that

Me too lol... I used to use little bits of duct tape, then I moved stuff and found out how well it sticks to a rug lol. I now use gaff tape. I love that stuff but it's damn expensive! I need to re do mine as well, I've lost tape during transport for gigs and I want to shift my left foot pedals a bit.

Is the rug your using a commercial entryway rug? That's what it reminds me of only it's bigger than the ones I remember.

No, It's actually an area rug I bought from Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $45 over a year ago. I don't remember the exact dimensions at this moment (9' x 6'?). It works pretty well for my purposes.

I'm with you on the gaff tape stance. I work at a TV station, so I have access to gaffer's tape when needed.

It looks like a much tighter set up in that pic. The crashes do appear a bit lower from this angle as well.

              Again, great looking kit!
