Session Studio Classic performance video with Will Kennedy
Beautiful, beautiful drums and you're doing a fine job marketing them. I'd love to hear a recording with clear or coated ambassador-weight heads and Pearl, please pop that bass-drum's cherry!
Awesome video! These drums are amazing! I was leaning towards a Masters kit for my next purchase, but I am really considering these now. Checked a kit out a a Guitar Center, they are so amazing, I just love them!

Two great demo videos as well!
I've said it before, these drums sound and look fantastic. If i didn't already have the two kits I have, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to get a SSC kit. This is truly a PRO kit for a sick deal especially with the extra FT.
BTW, Will is a great player and a super person. Got to hang with him a lot at the Drum Camp in Cleveland.
Will seems like a real class act. Great video and awesome drums. I think I'm going to check those snares out for sure.

Looking for 14x14 Reference Floor Tom in 103 Piano Black
I just watched both videos. The drums do sound sweet! I wonder what the tonal difference is over a straight birch shell? Does the Kapur give it a little more warmth?

The addition of kapur gives the drums it's overall warmth. Kapur is a dense hardwood like mahogany. Whereas birch which is bright cutting and responsive kapur with birch combines all those tonal qualities and added warmth. It really is a great sounding and looking kit.
Is Will using 14"x16" & 16"x18" floor toms? Looks like it. The kit sounds great! I got a chance to see this finish up close at my local drum shop and it's KILLER!

I beleive that was shot with Will using 14x14 and 16x14 floors.
Hi-tom sounded really weird in the mix, disorientating. How do people know if a kit 'speaks to them' if all they play is the snare and kick and cymbals?, not to mention to heavy dampened heads he had too. I'm not being a troll or anything, just these over processed clips don't do a lot for me, you can't hear the difference between a reference and a vision. Mephis drum shop stick a couple of over heads in there and you really can hear a kit speaking to you.
Practice makes perfect. But ultimately, I am living proof that you don't need to play well to enjoy gear. You might be surprised how much enjoyment you can get while still sucking.
I finally saw the Sequoia Red SSC at our local GC and it is breathtaking! The Red is so deep and lush and glossy! I want! They didn't have one set up and keep them up on a shelf but pure looks is Marvelous! From the videos they sound as good as they look!
