A much belated thanks! "gyorpb" I understand what you meant now. I was like " that's the way it is". Put 14" not the 18" crash on the stand & then there's not so much weight on the clamp. Better weight distribution! I will do that!

Few pics of current set-up, I like the 2 up 1 down, and like the 1 up 2 down, but unless it's 2 real floor toms, it looks odd from the passenger side!

Trying to incorporate a little of all my kits, just for fun, and playing them should be fun,as well!

Last one is a pic of the Tama mini-boom, I bought to mount a splash, but works well for my ride. I have a pipe to mount it separate from the rack tom, I need a plastic cap for it, when it's cut.

          Tama mini boom

The stand I was gonna cut. Went to my shed to get hack saw, and found this chrome bicycle seat post. Free ( I rebuild and paint old bmx )

          Leg caps for furniture, $1.92
That's at my local hardware store, so they're marked up at least a $.

I may cap the inside pipe too! And still have two left over.

It worked so well, I added another. It looked cleaner without the crash, but played very nicely there.

          I'm very happy with it.

The Tama clamp was $27.00 USD

Very nice, very effective, it just looks good and works good at the same time. I would call it a major win! I like that a lot!

I will trade you my 9 piece export kit for that!

Here's why I like your find so much. I don't mean to brag but I got mine for $100. & if we traded we would both have double bass kits. Plus I always wanted a $285.00 Sessions kit. Lol.

                But if not enjoy!

Got this Prestige Session SPX at the end of last year. Not pictured is a second 16x22 kick. Some of these photos appeared in last month's DOTM as well as the "Show Us Your Kits" thread. But, since this "show me" thread is dedicated to Session kits feast your eyes (again):

George Lawrence of Poco, owner of Not So Modern Drummer, George's Drum Shop, and the force behind the Nashville Drum Show, sitting in on a 10, 12, 16, configuration at a blues jam not long after I got the kit.

Donnie Miller, me, Big Mike Griffin, and Doug Corbin at Champy's in Muscle Shoals earlier this year. 10" & 14" toms.

10, 12, 14, 16, last weekend at the VFW in Estill Srings, TN. Too bad the place was empty. The CMA Fest was finishing up in Nashville, *****oo was on the other side of the exit to get to this place, and Riverbend was also finishing up in Chattanooga. Tough competition!

I have a pacific blue session elite set of drums. I have bought several sets to give me a whole set, but I am missing a 8" tom. If amyone can get me a 8, I have an extra 10", 12", 13" and 18" I can trade one of these out for it. My cell is (828) 273-8382 if anyone can help, or I will be glad to purchase outright
