General Rules
- By joining the PDF, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually orientated, pornographic, hateful, threatening, divisive or otherwise violate the rules. This also includes the text in your Signature and User Title.
- We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the rules or is detrimental to the community. The moderators shall be the sole arbitrators of what does and does not violate community standards.
- No profanity. Any attempts to bypass the language filter or posting a graphic that includes profanity is strictly prohibited. This also includes your User Title which is the text underneath your User Name.
- No personal bashing or attacks against your fellow PDF members. Disagreements will happen but please keep it civil. If a moderator has to step in to resolve a disagreement, their decision is final in these matters.
- Discussing illegal drug use or materials related to the use, transportation, or making of, are strictly prohibited.
- No threads containing items for sell as there are many other places online that specialize in that process. (See Signature Guidelines for more information)
- Multiple or repeated posting for the sole purpose of increasing your post count is not allowed.
- Animated pictures within a thread are not allowed.
- No advertising, spamming, or solicitations of any kind is allowed. Profiles must represent an individual and not an organization or company.
- We will not allow posts, avatars, or links to sites that are sexual in nature.
- No multiple accounts or account name changes. If you have been banned and create a new account, both accounts will be deleted immediately.
- Absolutely no threads discussing politics or religion.
- Any thread that exceeds the 200 page limit or that requires excessive moderation will be closed.
- If you are going to comment in a non-English language on the forums, please also include an English Translation of your post.
- Any avatar, profile name, or titles that may be confused with official Pearl staff are not allowed.
Signature Guidelines
- For text signatures: 4 lines normal size (size 2), 8 lines small size (size 1). Font sizes above 2 are not allowed. (Blank lines count as lines.)
- For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and 20k in size. No animated images are allowed.
- You may have one link for an item you're selling provided there is no price listed.
- Your signature may not contain obscene, vulgar, sexually orientated, pornographic, hateful, threatening, or religious messages.
Although the administrators and moderators of the Pearl Drummers Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review every post. Keep your Forum clean by reporting any posts that violate the rules. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of Pearl Drummers Forum or Pearl Corporation will be held responsible for the content of any message.
The owners of the Pearl Drummers Forum reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread, signature, or profile for any reason. We can update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of the Pearl Drummers Forum. Access to our forum is a privilege and not a right.
