I am looking for a black, short Tom arm that would have been supplied with a Reference kit. Can anyone help with the model number please?

If you are open to aftermarket items, you could look here:

I cannot confirm that it will match your other hardware, and I'd imagine that shipping it from the US to the UK might make it cost prohibitive, but it might be worth a shot.

You can inquire and ask Pearl Europe if they will allow special order for black tom arms, I know in the U.S., we no longer do it.sigpic

Found a black short 900 arm at Thomann. The one I got with the kit is a long Gyro Arm which is wrong. I will retire this when the new one arrivesYamaha Recording Custom 10,12,13,16,22 in Cherry Red

Seems a pipe cutter would do the trick?
You could also put the Tom arm in the stand and use the multi clamp to hold the cymbal arm instead. Sort of a role reversal...sigpic
