  • Reference Tom Arm identification.

I am looking for a black, short Tom arm that would have been supplied with a Reference kit. Can anyone help with the model number please?

Reference sets are sold as shell packs and don't come with tom arms standard, but you are most likely looking for a TH1030S/B.

If you are open to aftermarket items, you could look here:

          https://www.drumfactorydirect.com/in...ducts_id=14138

I cannot confirm that it will match your other hardware, and I'd imagine that shipping it from the US to the UK might make it cost prohibitive, but it might be worth a shot.

In the U.S., we still offer lugs, FT legs, FT brackets, BD spurs, hoops in black, black nickel, standard nickel and chrome, gold but not stands (like cymbal stands, snare stands etc....).

You can inquire and ask Pearl Europe if they will allow special order for black tom arms, I know in the U.S., we no longer do it.

Found a black short 900 arm at Thomann. The one I got with the kit is a long Gyro Arm which is wrong. I will retire this when the new one arrives

Nice! Even when Exports came with black hardware, they had matching black tom arms. I'm really surprised they are no longer available at any price level.

Wait, what's wrong with the one that came with it?

Seems a pipe cutter would do the trick?

You could also put the Tom arm in the stand and use the multi clamp to hold the cymbal arm instead. Sort of a role reversal...
