The seam is clearly visible.
I think it's not a wrap the same way Eric Singer's acrylic kit was a Crystal beat.

Great looking kit. Really like the set up. Wrap or not, it should look awesome under the stage lights .

I think that's a fancy way of saying it's an abalone veneer made up of abalone material and not a printed wrap. It's confusing though as they make it sound like the shell is constructed from abalone. Lol.

Each ply is a wrap. Right? It just so happens the outer most ply is the most beautiful one.

I thought that too until I read the note... It is a wrap made from real abalone shell. The drum shell itself is not made from abalone. The wording in those posts just isn't the best.

Cool kit. You need to take the "a" out of the description. Should read, "this is real abalone shell" not, "this is a real abalone shell".
