  • Reference Redline

Who can tell me about the redline series of reference drums? I recently scored a 5x14 snare in the redline finish and holy moly...it's going to be my main. I've been on the hunt for the right reference snare for years and couldn't resist this one.

I've only come across one or two other redline series kits in many years.

As far as I know, Pearl only made 50 sets of each Redline in white and black. I know they are pretty hard to find but there must be one somewhere!

Not sure when they were in pearl catalogues or how many were made, but I do know they're beautiful!

I saw that on an eBay listing D4L posted in my snare drums thread. Is that so? I'm happy to own this then!

I saw that, very cool kit. I have a 12 16 24 setup right now and I don't wanna change it. Otherwise if I were in the market I would be buying that one for sure!

There is a white AND a black kit for sale right now…both in Edmonton AB!

Amazing to have two kits for sale at the same time in the same city. If I had the funds, they'd both be mine

If I remember correctly, the white kit had a 24 kick and bigger toms. The black kit had a 22 kick and lil smaller toms.

I was under Portland. My family goes down there from Seattle a lot and I look occasionally to see if there's anything worth picking up.

I herd its anywhere within a reasonable driving distance of Portland.
