  • Some cool pics of my Reference Series drumset

Pearl Reference in Inca Gold Burst with black hardware. I'm still waiting for my matching 16x16 Floor Tom as you can see the open space on my set-up where it will go, and also a matching 13x6.5 snare. I've got 3 more months to wait. The sizes are 22x18, 8x8, 10x8, 12x9, 14x14, 14x5 snare. I have a ton of different cymbals to choose but theres a few that i never switch out like I really love the Sabian Artisan crashes and the Zildjian K Custom Dark crashes alot there definitely my favorite crashes. My ride is pretty much always the Sabian HH Raw Bell Dry Ride and its actually a Phil's Choice the phil collins HHRBDR. Hi hats I usually Favor 13" Sabian Evolution hats or sometimes 13.25" Zildjian K Custom Hybrid hats. My favorite splash I always have on the kit is my 11" Zildjian Oriental Splash. and my x-hats are almost always a 14" Sabian evolution china paired with the 12" Evolution splash sounds really trashy. The mics are all Audix D2s,D4'sD6s they really do require no EQ'ing what so ever, awesome mics.

Very nice kit. I think that finish looks really good with black HW. Your set-up is equally as nice.

Always loved that finish but it is one that has to have black hardware. Gorgeous kit.

I mic'd it recently and havent recorded it yet i just run my ipod through the mixer and mix my drums with it to play to songs and they sound awesome with almost no EQ'ing. I'm gonna have to recoed a lil clip so you can hear the drums.

Nice kit... the black hardware on the drums really sets them apart from the rack! I like that!
