Personally, i would say neither.

I love the Scarlett fade. If you see it in person under bright lights, you would understand. It has this super glittery microflake sparkle in the paint. Looks incredible. Pictures do not do it justice. It's not just a simple red fade. Youneed to see the lacquer.

The Rythm Blue is also insane under bright lights.

I fell in love with Purple Craze when it first came out... but once I saw the Shimmer of Oz with the gold hardware, I fell in love all over again lol
So, I would have to agree with steadypocket & others & say "GO THE SHIMMER"

Everybody has their favorites. Not to throw cold water on this thread but only you can decide. Personally, I'd take all the colors and cross off those I don't like. Then with the remaining list, I'd consider where the drums would be used/seen, how long I was going to keep them, what colors I've had before or currently own, and what you see yourself with in 10 years.

If you do that, the choice will become clear to you.

I bought part of Jimmy DeGrasso's kit he used at a clinic in Scarlet Fade. I think it's classier than the Purp. Cr. and Shimmer. I also had the Ref. in Purp. Craze a few weeks back that I bought from another Pearl artist.

Nice Russ. If I was gonna get another Ref kit, it would be Aztek Gold or Bob. If I was only allowed one kit and I didn't already have one, it would probably be the Rythm Blue.
