In my regards to the remarks of Sir Smith, Not many people laughed at Danny Carey's Modern Drummer joke about his Sonor Designer drum set used on Tool's 10 000 Days album. If people are going to sit by with their heads up their asses about it and boycott all future RHCP albums, that's just idiotic. People are pretty ignorant of Chad Smith if they can't see the humour. They're 10x more ignorant if they listen to Stadium Arcadium and think it's not a Reference because he said it wasn't.
In that case, he should clearly order Purple Craze!

As for the bonehead, the worst part about it is how badly engineered that cd is. There is so much distortion and clipping going on that the engineer was either on crack or was simply hired for his ability to acquire crack. Any decent engineer could get a decent sound out of Reference drums or any other set for that matter. There is absolutely NO need to switch to a different drum kit unless you are simply too lazy to tune your drums, don't know how, or the engineer doesn't have a ******** clue what he/she is doing.

    So there!

It was on a limited edition Reference kit late last year, and was just announced at the NAMM show to be a regular Reference color.
              Love everybody.

Yes, but buying a Ref kit in each color is still much cheaper...

I have a feeling no diamond could make up for having to lug around and set up that kit. I would be searching for a new roadie...and wife I'm sure. I guess I'm missing the point of all that. This one would make Mike Portnoy jealous!

In that case, you should add another diamond to her wedding band every year!
