  • Is it just me or is this an awesome deal?

Now I'm no Reference expert, but for a 5 piece reference kit WITH a snare, stands, clamps, 16" and 18" Paragon crashes, a 22" Paragon ride, and 14" paragon hats, I'm suddenly wishing I had $2,200 to blow.

That's the worst setup in the history of Reference.

I agree totally!!! All that tape is suffocating that beautiful Reference sound. The seller couldn't even get the snare drpth right. I wouldnt trust this guy. Ive seen this set on eBay before and it looks like some kid that is just starting out has rich parents. HAHA!!!

I'd wait a little while. I've seen many beautiful and babied Reference sets on ebay for less $ than that.

that just really annoys me, some kid goes out and his parents buy him whatever he wants then he covers it in tape and sells it on ebay so he can cash in on the next big thing(custom companys).

custom companies were the next big thing before the reference series was released

I`m at work and can`t view this kit, but is it the Scarlet Fade with a coated reso. and a 5" port in the middle of the head? Plus, it has tape on the bottom of the tom heads. Looks like it was set up by someone that has no idea how to set up a kit. If so, I wouldn`t buy that without seeing it in person. It`s been listed several times.

Buyer Beware!! The reso. on that kit actually looks like the batter head.

but so long as nothing is broken who cares how its setup??? that can be changed and new reso heads put on and tape taken off and setup changed etc. but just as long as non eof the shells hardware etc. is seriously damaged it should be fine
