  • Yeah I've got one too...

I noticed quite a few Reference snares pop up on the forums lately. The funny thing is, I just got my own one!!! "Haven't you got enough snares already?" -No, clearly not. Every single one has it's own charactaristics and therefore I love every single one of my snares. While playing I constantly switch snares to match the style I'm playing at that moment. Enough rant, let's talk about this beast.

It's sound is just so exploding but still very in control. Rimshots are like gunblasts right next to your ears. I was quite surprised about it's sensitivity. When played softly it settles down to a nice quiet snare but it takes your head off when you start slamming it. Great snare!!!

Judging from his description of the snare's sound, I'd say he already does.

That snare sound's kickass! I can hear the rapid fire sound of me blasting on that thing as we speak!
To me, playing music is like sex. You have to be in the right mood in order to perform at your best.

Thanks all, just played around on the snare for a few hours. It sound absolutely overwhelming! It's actually a great allrounder.
I think I love its rimshots the most!
Oh yeah, needless to say, it looks awesome with the rest of the kit!!!
