  • Reference Re-Wrap

    Hi all,

Anybody on here ever tried to re-wrap a Music City Reference Pure kit? Just wondering how resilient the glue is on the outside layers. Have a potential trade going on, BUT, I’m not into the finish whatsoever.

Any info or help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

The wrap is taped at the seam, not glued. It should come off easily.

Yep, just taped on. Should come off pretty easily.

        Awesome. Thanks guys.

Anybody know any decently priced drum wrap suppliers? I'm in Canada so the selection up here is iffy, haha.

The two big suppliers here in the states are Jamin Sam and Precision Drum. One of them prefers gluing their wraps, but all can be taped. They’ll both pre cut the wrap for your drums. I don’t suggest cutting from a large sheet.

I would learn to like it and just leave it alone. Or look for another kit. Defacing and changing drums like that wrecks their value and could even wreck the drums themselves.
