Opinions on my drum sizes before i order.

Hi all!!! Been a while since i wrote a post. Just chasing any opinions on my potential ref pure order.
Heres what im thinking.
10x7 RT
12x7 RT
14x12FT
16x14FT
22x20K
13x5.5 Snare

Im curious to know what every one thinks of have 2 matched depth rack toms. I mean ive seen a couple of pics getting around and it looks great but does it sound ok? And are there any negatives? I preference the shallow toms cause im a short *** and like the toms alittle lower with out too much angle.

also whats ever ones thoughts on the 22x20 kick. Ive all ways been a fan of massive kick drums but recently i played a MHX 22x14kick and was so impressed by the depth and tone it wasnt funny!

I think matched depth rack toms look cool. Every once in a while I'll play a 9x10 and 9x12 combination. If I were you, I'd go with an 8 to 9" depth. It just looks better. That's just me.

The only big criticism I have is with your bass drum size. I'd recommend 14", 16" or 18" depth. If you get a 20" deep kick, you'll have trouble fitting it on small stages, squeezing it into the back of a car, etc.

Had a Ref 22x20 kick and it sounded massive but to echo Andy, it was a pain to move and get on a lot of drum risers. Now I'm rocking a 24x14 and loving it.

I've owned two different pairs or 22x20 kick drums, one pair of 6-ply maple and one pair of thick 10-ply maple/mahogany. Neither pair sounded as powerful and deep as the 22x18 kicks I had that were thin ply 100% mahogany. I think you will get a nice deep tone with the thin shells, so no need for 20" deep. Just my opinion.

Well if you are going to custom order, then I would get one extra in the order just in case. 22 x 20 bass drums sound great, and look great, but are a pain if you have to move them.

Stay away from that deep of a kick drum. The immediate reason to thank me is simply how much easier it is to transport. I suggest a 16" depth for both tone and convenience.
