  • New snare! :)

Went to my local drum-pusher, determined to order a matching snare to my reference pure kit. When i got in, the first thing i see is a identical spec'ed snare - but in a different color.

Since i just once in my 30 years as a drummer has had a matching snare to my kit, i just buy the one in the store - getting a 30% discount on the factory-new snare ❤️😁😃 Beeing an oiled natural finish is just nice I'm thinking of getting it laquered matte black later on, maybe... It's so beutiful already... 😁

Took it to my studio, put on a remo fiberskin, and the beuty was ready to go... Just love the crack and the body on this baby! AND I didn't have to wait 3 months for the snare to be produced.

I'll post some updated kit pics as soon as i remember to take my camera along But her's a iPhone pic for a starter

14 X 4.5? Nice snare! I bet it sounds killer.

Do we win the snare if we guess correctly?

                Doubt it, on the website they only show 3 size options, 14 x 5, 14 x 6.5, and 13 x 6.5. With the pics he posted I don't believe the snare is 6.5" which eliminates the 14 x 6.5 and 13 x 6.5

Ten lugs, visibly not 6.5" deep, must be 14x5".

Yup 14 by 5"! If ever in Oslo, I'll buy you beer!

Sounds great by the way. I also forgot how good the fiberskin sounds on a good snare!
