HELP!!!!!! Reference Pure Lugs Metal to Metal vibration noise

Has ANYBODY who has a Pearl Reference Pure kit have ANY issues with a vibration (metal to metal) noise after tuning the drum when the drum is struck? The brass fittings on the Pure lug vibrates on my 14x14 floor tom no matter what. I have tightened everything and there is still a vibration noise. Any thoughts??? Not too happy after spending $$$$! Thank you.

i think i have heard a metal vibration noise from my 14x14, but only because that tension rod was completely loose.
once tightened up even a little the noise is gone.
