Many thanks to pat at pearl for taking care of a broken tom holder on my new kit. I call pat on monday and got the new holder on friday. He listened to my problem and took care of the issue without a hassle. He was professional and did not treat me like i was trying to put something over on them which is what i have gotten from other drum companies when i had a legit issue. Also thanks to gene who i did not deal with but did answer me quickly and am sure i would have got the same treatment from him. This is my first pearl kit and is only about a month old but i never thought i had made a mistake buying this kit because this type thing can happen and it has turned out to be a great decision. even the stock heads were good but i put on new ones because they give me the sound i want.
