Multi Pad Based Electronic Drum Set

Anyone running a multi pad based setup in lieu of a full acoustic or electronic kit?

I was doing this 24 years ago with a Roland SPD-11. I worked with disabled people for a few years, and we used to do worship with them. This was a great micro kit that was easy to carry around in one plastic tub.
