Mimic Hi Hat issues..

The Pearl logic is that people using DAWs might prefer to have the CC values on their own channel. They have said they feel that's best, I believe.

I'm trying to trouble shoot my hi hat midi problems.

Simple question (to start)...

Opening a midi monitor program on my mac, with no other midi controllers turned on and no DAW open if I hit
any drum connected to the mimic I also see a "Foot control (course)" message. I've unplugged the physical HH cables from the unit
and I still get a foot control (course) msg.

Simple question, is this normal?
