  • Drum-tec JAM vs ATV aDrums artist

    Hi guys,

I have a Mimic Pro and I want to replace my old Roland TD10-set with a new acoustic looking set. I'm thinking about purchasing the drum-tec Jam NG Stage (without sound module):

    https://www.drum-tec.com/drum-tec-ja...d-module-black

or the ATV aDrums - artist series Basic Set (without module):

    https://www.drum-tec.com/atv-adrums-...without-module.

I want the best quality and play-feeling of the two and I also want it to be relatively easy to set up (hate spending lots of time fiddling around with settings, but don't we all? :-)). I would like that they are relatively easy to move, but I guess that will the same with the two.

What do you guys think? Are there alternatives in the same price range?

    Much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have the atv artist and mimic combo and it's phenomenal. I've zero experience with drumtec pads but I understand they're good pads. Vdrum forum is a great resource. One thing to consider is that ATV no longer has distribution in the US. Sweetwater sold me a flawless demo kit with the full warranty and I got a nice deal as a result.
