  • Cymbal bell jobeky issue

    Hi guys,
    My first post.
Íve just received my new jobeky cymbals, and I cannot make the bells of the crash nor the ride sound.
Íve been looking around, but couldńt find answers.
Before i contact them i have read the instructions, but they dont help: i cannot find the function to split the ride nor crashes.
In trigger section, i have not done any changes. It shows the same type of cymbal for Bow, bell, edge and choke.
Both crash and ride use Teo cables: bell and bow.
Any charitably soul willing to help?

Pd: the whole cymbal sounds the same, is what I mean. No bells, no choke, no edge.
I have found the ride split function, but no changes.

I would contact Jobeky and ask what modules are compatible with their cymbals.

It makes it easier to make a recommendation about trigger settings if we know if it is wired for Roland or Yamaha.

        Thank you Sabellico.
It was ordered specially for Mimic Pro.
I still hope for a configuration issue...

There are trigger settings for Roland, Yamaha, and Pearl that are already loaded.

Unfortunately, there are no Jobeky presets in our software.

You will have to try some of the Roland and Yamaha trigger settings to see which one applies.

Does your cymbal have 2 cables?

          Are they TRS cables?

            Hello Bob,

Jobeky indicates the trigger settings in the packaging (I think it is cy8 or 9 of Roland)
The 20 and 18" cymbals have 2 cables: One for the bell and another for the bow.
I have the 18" connected to aux 1&2.
The other problem is that the choke is not working either...
Apart of this problem, the sound is absolutely amazing.

I forgot to mention that I am using TRS cables.
              Thank you

                Hi,

Could you send me a picture of the bottom of your cymbals?
I think I can help if I see the product.

                        Hi,

                        Ok, let's try this.

Go to trigger and choose the ride cymbal.

Use the Pearl Tru Trac EPC14T.

Check and see what zones are working.

If changes need to be made, go to the Kit instr Assign page.

It shows the sound and the assignment.

You need to experiment by changing the end column functions to match up with your cymbal's wiring.

                          Hi Bob,
Thank you. I have changed the trigger to trutrack, but no major changes.
I dońt know what happened but the ride bell started to sound. I have to hit it quite hard, but the sound is there.
I will change gain and thresholds and se what happens in order not to hit it that hard.
                          Choke still not working.
                          No bell in crash1(one cable)
As for crash2(Two cables),I will copy the ride settings and see, as son as I Get home.
I will experiment and see what comes out.
I probably will be back here soon crying for more advise
                          Thank you!
