  • Is the Strike Pro HiHat compatible with redbox module?

Hi. I have the Pearl Redbox module and the stock HH controller, which I hate. Plus something happened with the chick sound which doesn't work. Anyway. I'm thinking about the Alesis Pro-X HiHat, however I absolutely hate the playing surface (it's the same I have now) so I'm thinking of the Strike Pro HiHat which is all rubber. Will it work with the DM10/redbox module?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Even though the Strike hat has similarities to to Pro X, there is no definite proof it will work with the Redbox or DM10.

I would check the V Drum forums to see if anyone has had any luck with that combination.

It definitely works. I used the goedrum controller and had nice results but the Strike Pro works perfectly with little to no hassle or tweaking with the REDBOX module.

With the dm10, I dont know why it will work, but with lots of tweaking.
