Matt finishes

Lately I have seen a lot of cars coming with matt finishes and I was wondering if you could have such a matt finish on a masterworks.
Would it just be a satin oil or actually a matt paint?

Does anyone have any pics of kits like that? No finish plies...

I like the matt finishes, but I do not think I would like them on a kit. However, they would probably accomidate you if you wanted a Masterworks that way.

There is a lot to like or love about matte in natural finishes--I have seen many that I love, however, some matte finishes in color do not look so desirable in my opinion.

I believe that Masterworks "burnish" finishes are matte finishes.

This looks like a gray/metallic matte finish..


Personally I think it would be killer to have a gloss/matte hybrid combo. Something like black gloss with black matte design, like ghost flames, minus the flame...

Similar to this but whatever design you wanted, stripes, what have you.

My OCDP kit is finished in Matte Black. Check out the pics from the link in my signature. I know the pics are two years old, Im working on getting some newer ones posted very soon.

My old refinished Export EX in Satin Black.....

You could actually have Pearl do a durable finish like this with a base-coat, clear-coat paint. It just depends on how much "flattening agent" they use in the clear.
