Question about custom designs

My band MIGHT get sponsered by someone who has a lot of money. I am kind of new to the Pearl business, I have been a Tama guy for a while. Anyway, I'm thinking about getting a Masterworks. Is there anyway I can get custom engravements or anything on it with my bands name? Also, can I send any color/design I want in to Pearl and they will do their best to match it? Sorry if I confused any of you, I'm kind of confused myself by what I said. lol thanks

Pearl will match Lacquer colors to the best of there ability. As for custom engraving, the answer is no. What specifically are you looking to have engraved?. If you want small metal plates with engraving, you could find a meatl shop who could help. OCDP offers custom badges with logos or writing, but i dont know if they will sell them unless you are getting the kit from them. If that is what you are after, let me know and ill find out for you.

nah i didnt mean bass drum heads.....im also going to get that done hopefully....and thanks for the site..i had no idea where to get them

as in the engravements...what i mean is.....you know in the tama starclassic maples...how the logo is engraved in it instead of a metal patch....thats what i mean

On Tama SC Maple kits its not engraved, the logo is paint.

Actually the loge on the SC Maole is a clear sticker type thing that is laquered on to the shell.

oh really ? i thought i read in a tama magazine it was engraved...maybe i read wrong..but ill check later to be sure....anyway thanks for the answers

another question is....do you have any sound samples of some pearl masterworks on the internet?

I think your best bet for finding masterworks sound clips would be searching the internet or this forum for owners of mw kits, because pearl has not yet made their own sound clips of mw sets. you were asking about colors, and your question was answered, but I thought Id tell you bout my website... its got pictures of many many masterworks finishes that have been made. unless I have made a mistake, all the pictures you find on my site are real actual masterworks kits, and not photoshop jobs. there sure are some pretty kits in there.
