me. I 'm 34 and Zeppelin was formed in 68 the year I was born so
I grue u0p on them. In my opinon music after the 80's went to
crap in a bug way and I want to bring back that old school sound
of clasic Rock and who better than the Bonham sound was there.

Weren't you the person who started the thread about wanting a "Bonham"- style kit a while back?
Have you decided on which line of drums you're gonna get from Pearl yet? Lets assume you decide to go with either MMX or MRX, which you can get in natural maple finish. Actually, you can get Session Customs in natural maple as well, you'll just have to custom-order them and wait a little bit longer.
Where am I going with this? Seeing as how Pearl doesn't offer 26" bass drums, why not order a raw 26" bass drum shell from drummaker.com ($126 for the shell, $31.80 x2 for the hoops) and have someone clear-coat them for you (if you can't do it yourself). I am assuming you have access to some craftsmen in your area that should be able to handle this.
If you wanted the bass drum to match the rest of your kit PERFECTLY, you could simply order the necessary lugs, parts, etc from your Pearl dealer or else get a complete 22" or 24" Pearl bass drum and strip the parts off of it for your custom 26" (and just store the Pearl shell away for safe keeping). Or you could just order up all the necessary parts from drummaker.com to build a complete bass drum, and either just order the toms you want from Pearl or a complete kit! It never hurts to have two bass drums; you may not want to use the 26" in all playing situations....
Just some food for thought ... I've been thinking about this lately too. I've currently got an MRX kit and I too want a bigger bass drum than the 22" that came with the set. There is a local drum builder in my area called Epek Percussion who uses the same Keller shells as drummaker.com and said he's pretty confident he can match my Pearl Sequoia Red finish pretty closely. Its either I do that, or I'll just stay with a natural finish on the new bass drum and perhaps have him build up a new kit piece by piece as I can afford them.
Natural Maple is a nice color for drums, don't you think?:

Well, it seems to me from reading all the responses you got on the other "Bonham" thread that Bonham's kit changed a fair bit over the years. Sometimes he used the clear plasic Vistalites, sometimes he used Ludwig Classics (combination Maple/Poplar shells.... not available anymore) and apparently there is some debate on the sizes of toms he used as well. Ludwig didn't make all-maple drums when Bonham played them, so unless you can find a real vintage Ludwig set, you're not going to get the EXACT sound that Bonham got. But I doubt that most people would be able to tell. The set you see in the picture above is what Ludwig calls their "Bonham" replica kit and the shells are all-maple. Its as close as you're gonna get in getting new wood-shell set like what Bonham played.
The good new is that if you decide you want the clear-shell Vistalites that Bonham played, you CAN buy those new. Ludwig recently re-introduced the Vistalite series, but they are VERY expensive.
