Looks great set up like that! Do you mount the rack tom in a snare stand or use the optimount when set up like this?

                          • Yeah, it's a little ridiculous. Masters BCX in #357, Golden Bronze Glitter I think it's called.

                            22x18 bass drum
                            8x7, 10x8, 12x9 rack toms
                            14x14, 16x16, and 18x16 floor toms
22x18 bass drum converted into a gong bass drum
                            14x6.5 matching snare
                            10x6.2 Mike Mangini snare
                            12x5 DW snare

I really enjoy the gong bass with a bottom head, I perceive it generates more low end, but it's sort of a pain to set up so I don't take it with me to gigs. I also struggle to separate it from the 18" floor tom in pitch. Either the 18" is too high and runs into the pitch of the 16" or the 22" is not under enough tension and doesn't really resonate. I need to play around with the tuning a little bit.

also a 14 inch tom instead of 13, and 16 and 18 floors , with one of them on the left
