Thanks everyone for your generous comments, I'm glad to have this kit and to be reminded I should make the most of it!

Mike, as you know, I’m a card carrying member of the Bronze Age as well. Lots of bronze drums and cymbals. After all these years I haven’t tired of the looks or sound of the drums, and I really like the way the drums and cymbals look together. I’m in the process of putting new G2’s on all my toms. One drum to go. I was using EC2’s and I think I prefer the sound of the G2’s. I think that other than the gong, I’d feel right at home on your kit. Since my lumbar surgery, the 16” is a stretch.
