KickPort users?

I have had one on my bsx 22 x 18 bass for at least a year and it made my already awesome bass drum sound even better. They are well worth the money and has had no slippage issues.

I wonder if it is beneficial to have one if I am using the Kelly-Shu system?

If I get one do I need to start micing the kick in the kickport and use a stand?

Typically stands pick up stage noise, etc, which is why I got the Kelly-Shu ....

I see that Guitar Center has one already installed on a REMO head. Perhaps that would not have any slippage issues?

I would love to get one of these but I play a 20" and think it would look ridiculously over-sized for that size drum. I wish they made an mini-Kickport. I even contacted the company about my request and No Response.

Drakken: Our good and true friends at Big Bang Dist have their product (BassDrum O's) available in a 4" diameter...if that might be more to your liking....
