I have had one on my bsx 22 x 18 bass for at least a year and it made my already awesome bass drum sound even better. They are well worth the money and has had no slippage issues.

I wonder if it is beneficial to have one if I am using the Kelly-Shu system?
If I get one do I need to start micing the kick in the kickport and use a stand?
Typically stands pick up stage noise, etc, which is why I got the Kelly-Shu ....
I see that Guitar Center has one already installed on a REMO head. Perhaps that would not have any slippage issues?Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute Y2K, dw Collectors Series Black Velvet and Marine Pearl, dw Snare drums - Edge, Marine Pearl, Black Velvet, Paiste Signature and Zildjian Z Cymbals, dw 9002, 9500 High Hat, dw Rack, Rolling Riser, Roland pads, Roland TD-10 and 20X Modules / dw stands
