  • ** WANTED** Emerald Fade 12x8 or 12x9 Masters Custom MMX

I am down to playing my Old Badge Emerald Fade MMX's in a 14x12 rack tom, 16x16, kick snare config after I sold "more than 1/2" of my Em Fade double bass kit. I had wanted to keep at least 1 of my 2 12's but the guy who bought my kit was going to pass on it if he could not get both 12's off me. Now, I need help finding a matching old badge Masters Custom 12x8 or 12x9 Emerald Fade tom. If anyone knows or sees one anywhere world wide, I'd love to get my hands on one again. As for just buying a new one from my Pearl dealer, it is hard to swallow paying over $500 for just this one tom. SO if anyone knows of a good used one or a dealer that might have one for $300 or less I'd love to hear about it. Thanks.
Emerald Fade MMX kit: 22x18 10x8,12x9,14x11,14x12,16x16,6.5x14 snare or 6x14 Black Nickel Hammered Pearl Sensitone
1964 Blue Glass glitter Rogers Cleveland Era Holiday drums
    8x12, 16x16, 14x20, 5x14 Powertone Snare

Will do Chillie, There have been a few Natural Finish Maple toms lately (I just sold my 12 & 15) but no Birch. I like the Maple, But I want thin shells, that's why I sold the MRX toms (there was a 22,16,12,10 Blue burst MMX on ebay, if I can get it for my price I may do it). No hurry, I'm sure they will show in time.

            Thanks

Hey, I am looking for a MRX (preferred), MRP, or BRX 16x16 floor in Midnight Fade in chrome.

Pool resources? I am having trouble finding Masters singles at all any more. Will keep an eye out for Emerald Fade for sure.

To search every craigslist, you can use SearchTempest and it will spit out results from every craigslist within a specified distance from you.

Thanks. Jimbo and slocobra. I did some quick math about what I paid for 2 emerald fade kits minus what I sold off piecemeal. And all tolled I think my 14/16/kick/snare cost me about $800-900. If I have to special order a 12x8 at over $500 from Pearl, I'll still be in good shape for a 5 pc dream kit.

Hi again. I hope no one gets sick of my musings regarding my kit. Anyway, I just took delivery of a nice 12x9 MMX today and the finish is... "drum Roll" hehe . Ebony Mist. It is a pretty cool color I never knew existed. Hopefully soon I may also win another 12x9 The one on the bay I have seen is Emerald Mist. If I get that drum, I'll have a closer color donor drum to try to duplicate the factory "emerald fade" like my 14,16, kick and snare is finiished. As fior now though, it feels good to have a nice 12 back in my arsenal.

Ahh congrats on the drum (minus the different color). LOL.

I seen you didn't want to pay over $500, Long Island Drum Center has them for $456.95 if you'd be interested. I don't know if the $500 range was firm or if you're a penny pincher/this place has it for less than this one, like myself. LOL.
