  • dudme's Artic White Masters Custom MMX

I finally got a few good pictures of my MMX setup. I believe they are mid-90 based off of the ISS mounts and badges.
    Some of the specs:
Artic White 4 ply maple shells with reinforcing rings, ISS mounts, 10, 12, 13, 14 inch mounted toms, 16 inch floor and 22 inch bass. Eric Singer Signature snare. Pearl Eliminator double pedal and Eliminator hi-hat stand, Pearl Chimes and a mix of Zildjian A's and Wuhans. EVANS EC2 coated batter heads on the toms over Remo Diplomats. (I may change them at some point.) Aquarian SuperKick II bass batter with Remo Powerstroke 3 reso. Evans Genera X Dry snare batter.

They look immaculate! I love White Kits and especially Artic White Masters Kits! The Refurbed EX is looking good too. I bet they sound as good as they look! Can you play all of those bells; as in percussionist? I'm a drummer; period. It would be fun to play with all of those sounds; but would probably take me all year to learn "We're on the road to Bangkock." LOL

Those drums are fantastic Dudme. They should sound lovely now that they have aged too. The older they get the better they sound. Those are truly fabulous drums. congratulations!!!!

I don't think I've found a scratch on them yet, which is amazing when you consider the age and that they were shipped FedEx across the US!
I use the percussion stuff for, well, accents! I've got the chimes, jam blocks and cowbells, and I'll use them from time to time to accent the music. I'm not the type to play intricate beats or rhythms on them, though.

Thanks Blk Diamond! I feel kinda bad that I didn't have my stage fully set up for the pictures. I've got a light bank for the front and black cloth that covers the sides for when I used to play out. I just haven't put it all together since I moved into this house.
Lil' dudme is seven months old now and he keeps eyeing the Masters. I keep telling him he gets the Exports, but you know how kids are!

Thanks Eric and Jutt! They sound amazing. really loving the 4 ply aged maple. I did some recording with them over Thanksgiving and when I got the raw mix back I was like "Wow!" I always thought my Exports had a great sound, but these top it.
I'm hoping that my brother and I will have a new video up on YouTube for one of the songs we recorded over Thanksgiving. I was playing my Masters on it and they sound great on the recording. It will take some time to finish the video, though, as he is doing it on his own. We've got a video up of an older song where I'm playing my Exports, but this would be the first with the Masters.

Thanks Al! You probably got so used to me talking about my Exports that you tuned me out!

Plus, it wouldn't surprise me if you owned this set at one point.
