Ok PDF'ers,

Here is the latest update to the ever expanding BRP's. Most everyone has probably already seen this kit at some point in time since 2008. It keeps growing--LOL!! The 16x16 FT is the newest addition. As you might expect, it's got a huge sound. Very clean attack. I was not fond of the clear ambassador on it however. The drum sounds absolutely killer with the G1 coated. The whole kit is really something to behold visually and sonically IMO. Thanks again Al and all at Pearl. The drum matches perfectly with the rest of the kit even though the 8x7 was bought around 1 year after initial purchase of the shell pack in 2008. The 16x16 was bought around 2 years after the shell pack was purchased. It was a gamble but it worked out for me so major thanks to PMI. I tried to capture that in the pics.

Way to go, you have assembled a beautiful kit, that (I know) sounds KILLER.

You are going to be in HEAVEN, when you gig that beast for the first time. Your band mates (and audience) will be treated to a musical adventure.

I'm defiantly going to have to go down to Cleveland this summer to see and hear that bad boy in action.

Thank you for all the positive comments in the recent threads Eric. I appreciate it. It matches perfectly really, I was worried to be honest, but I knew the risks of ordering at different times. Pearl was also dead on when I ordered my add-on 10x10 in Emerald Mist back in the day. Needless to say, they their stuff (you can use a different adjective here : ) together in a big way.

Matt, thanks a lot buddy. The FT does sound perfect now especially with the coated G1. I finally got the clear ambassador dialed in before I put the G1 coated on. It took some time to get the sound I wanted out of that head. It wouldn't be my first choice in heads for this drum, but when I got locked in, it sounded really big and cut like a mother. It was loud!!!!!

I PM'd Derek to help me with my signature. I can't edit anything in it. I have been trying even before I got my drum. I keep getting an error message no matter what I do. Not sure how to correct the problem. Thank you for reminding me though.

Thanks quicksticks---I was elated to say the least when I got the drum home and saw how perfectly it matched compared to the drums I bought 2 years ago. Pearl has it down and I believe probably has very strict standards on the flitches of wood they get in and use. Either that, or the outer veneer I got was from the same pile from 2 years ago, but I doubt that based on the output Pearl has. : )

It does sound killer. Al was right the day I ordered my shellpack, he suggested I get the 16 and well, here it is!!!!
