Masters MCX Diamond Glitter

Hello everyone,
I'm pretty new to the forum, but I enjoy looking at everybody's kits, so I thought I'd share mine. I purchased these drums from Midwest Percussion back in May. I'm really happy with the decision I made to buy these drums. My heart was set on the Reference Series, but I decided to go with Masters MCX because of the value.

The specs are as follows:

Drums

8"x10" tom
9"x12" tom
16"x16" floor tom
16"x18" floor tom
6.5"x14" sensitone snare drum
18"x22" bass drum
(Waiting on: 7"x8" tom, and 6.5"x14" snare drum, both masters mcx diamond glitter).

Cymbals

All Zildjian A customs
16" crash
18" crash
20" ride
19" crash
19" projection crash
14" hi hats

Hardware

All Pearl

Diamond Glitter is the best finish in the MCX line imo.

That brass sensitone is a fine snare. Thinking of replacing it once the DG snare comes in, or just rounding out your setup?

I totally agree with your opinion.

Actually, the sensitone snare belongs to my brother, who has so graciously let me borrow it until my snare arrives.

Excellent pics of your Masters MCX kit in fantastic Diamond Glitter.
No doubt your brothers Sensitone is great, but wait till you get your hands on your 14"x6.5" MCX maple snare.

A very good choice...

Welcome and congrats on a very good kit....I would have preferred this over the Reference also. Pictures don't do justice to the Diamond Glitter wrap. It looks fantastic in person.

Great looking kit. And those sizes are uncommon with most small kits nowadays but great.

Midwest says my snare drum and 8" tom should be in by end of August, but we'll see about that. The waiting game sucks!!
