New Maple Reserve kit in MCC Blue Abalone finish

So last month I placed an order for a Masters Maple Reserve kit and just got it in a couple weeks ago. Ordered it through Sweetwater Music, who got me a great price and excellent service.

I moved over from a Reference kit that I got in 2017. Was looking for a warmer and more resonant sound as opposed to the loud and punchy References. Still experimenting with the heads (currently using coated Ambassadors over clear Ambassadors), but I'm loving the tone these drums have.

Sizes are 8x7, 10x7, 12x8, 14x12, and 16x14. Kick is 22x16.

That... Is gorgeous. Such a deep sapphire blue.

Daylight really brings out the beauty of that premium wrap.
