Just ran across a "new" Masters Maple up for sale if anyone interested.

Still very new to the threads, so I apologize if this is the wrong area to post something like this. I took a look around and found no other place, so will list it here in case someone is looking for something like this. Please let me know the details in this type posting please and I will make sure to do it right when I run across something like this in the future. Time is usually of the essense when it comes to finding good deals like this and they don't last long, so wanted to get it out there in case someone here can use it.

I was scanning my typical sites looking at all the drum things and ran across this on OfferUp in the San Diego area. A 14" Masters Maple floor tom, listed as "New" for only $100. Tried to look up similar and seen new of this was around $460 area, so if I found the correct drum, this could be a possible nice deal for someone looking for one. Just go to OfferUp and look in the San Diego area under musical instruments. It shows it was listed one hour ago (about 10:30 pm pst)

Again please let me know the proper section that such things are placed. Will list any specific "great deals" regarding Pearl drums like this when I run across them. Just trying to help anyone out who might be looking for these things. Hope this does help.

Doesn't look "new", but it looks like it's in good shape, and perfect for anyone who needs a matching Pewter Glass floor tom. It could also be Bronze Glass, but from the photo, it looks more grayish like Pewter Glass.

I just checked... if that floor tom is Pewter Glass like I perceive, it is 11 years old. "New" is quite a stretch!

Thanks for the reply. To clarify, is this the area (under what catagory the drum would be) to post something like this? I scan places like CL and OfferUp for cymbals mostly, but ran across this. I would not post everything I run across, but seen this was a Masters series and knew they were expensive. The matching 8" tom (new) to the little Export kit I'm going to be putting together was more $$$ than this was. So figured this looked like a really good deal for anyone with the upper end kits.

I understand. I can only state what the listing "says" and I just ran across it on my typical scan for cymbals. The true details would always have to be verified buy whoever may be interested. I just knew it was on the upper end side of the drum line an price was very attractive for anyone who might be looking for one. I know that matching color/model can be a bear on a kit and some can be very hard to find.

LOL, no problem on the joke reference (thank God they did not steal my sense of humor while I was there, humor is a must in this life for me). It seems like that one simple statement blew up into a huge issue for some, so I took a lot of it down so people might see the actual joke in it's original form (which is still up). I simply forget how so much has changed so fast in the US, even the smallest of things are knit-picked an can be skewed into something they were never meant to be. Sadly, most of the US has turned into a Jerry Springer show with a mob mentality of lots of hate, finger pointing and simply looking for something to "hate" on. Sad, but clearly true. And from what I have seen (99% by accient) that is floating around on the internet, my "personal situation" is quite "tame an lame" to many, which is fine by me, because most of the freaky stuff in this world is something I would have much rather never known about. To each their own.
