  • Kosth Vibraphones? Anyone ever heard of them?

I've got a line on a Kosth vibraphone for a pretty good deal but can't find much info online about them.
All I know is that they're Japanese, out of business, and not nearly as nice as a Musser or Deagan.
Any thoughts? It would be a 20 hour round trip drive to get them, but living in West Texas, I'm pretty much used to having to drive that far to get to civilization.

I really don't know much about these. One of the few brands I'm not familiar with. From what I've seen online it seems like the bars are generally not graduated and they are also generally pretty thin and wouldn't have as much sustain as better vibes. However, for the right price, a complete instrument might be a good deal. How much do they want? Have you seen pics?

All I know is that they're Japanese and the stand looks pretty flimsy. They're asking $425 but I could talk them down to $350...
But it's a really long drive for a sub-par quality instrument, so I think I'm gonna wait until a Musser falls into my lap.
