Thanks dude. I'm probs going to throw them up on eBay soon. I have three sets of Eliminator kick pedal/hi hat stands and a few sets of the lower lines as well (including the flush base stands). I think it's time to reduce my collection.

That is a beautiful red and black kit. Usually I prefer the Ebony pinstripes but with those shells and that black chrome those heads are awesome. Well done.

Since I’m leaving the hardware chrome except the cymbal stands, snare stand, and Bihar stand. My cymbals and kits wrap will be enough. It will be nice to I have some polished metal accents. Plus it’s not like I’ll just be using the kit for photo ops only lol. I definitely don’t want black feet or my shoes on o get stuff on them. Thank you all for your input!
Are the pedal boards made of aluminum? If so, black oxide would be an option. It’s a chemical process, so there’s no paint or powder coating involved.

This strikes me as the kind of thing that would look good from far away and less and less good the closer you got (also known as "Cheerleader Pretty").

Unfortunately, no one sees your pedals unless they are right on top of them.

Sooooo... yeah. I'm against painting them.

I’ve got a Mapex kit that I’m planning on wrapping with a black marble.. keeping the lugs and hoops a lovely chrome of course. But my new cymbal stands are the Mapex B800EB, along with 2x of the snare stands, the hi-hat stand as well. My shells will be black matte wrapped. I’ve already got the Meinl dark classic customs cymbals. Any advice?
