Can't say I've seen one with a yellow logo before, I'll have to have a look through mine to see if I've got one. The missing logo from the back isn't a rarity, it's just that it's fallen off - it's an old used key.sigpic

The yellowing could be from the effects of aging.
By the looks of it that key has been around.Eric G : Pearl,pAiSTe,Remo,Vic Firth,SKB,Roc n Soc,Roland V-Drums. Masters MCX Chestnut fade.

Hope you didn't pay too much! I think your "rarity" is just an old drum key.Black Lives Matter

Here are three pictures of three various Pearl K050 keys. First one is the chrome version, second one golden version (both with white logo) and third one is this key we discussed. If you look at it you can see, that this third key´s logo looks a little bit different - it is more rendered, more detailed and sharper. And the yellow color is not from aging and not due to flash light. Pictures were made without using flash. IMO it is an older or oldiest version of this type of Pearl key and I will contact Pearl (thru my friend collector in Japan) to ask about it.
And Trush yu´re right - it´s only an old used key (but for me very valuable)
