I also use a MC66 with a LCB attached to a tom stand to mount another cowbell or jam block between my hanging "floor" toms. I hope this helps.
Nice. That allows playing with the left or right hand.

The 4th pedal is for the remote hats (RH2000, Soultone 13" Extreme's)...centered on my 10 & 12 toms...I'll actually be adding a 5th to the right of my kick soon - attached to an electronic kickpad...

As for Soultone Cymbals they are one of those company's that suck people in by offering endorsements - I knew what it was going into the deal, I just wanted something different at the time and the timing worked...I no longer endorse them, and am slowly replacing them with Paiste. About the only place you'll find them outside of buying direct is ebay...

I have mine over my floor tom, under cymbal level. It's using a clamp and mapex tom arm from the crash stand.

Nice clean set up, and kudos on having a nice clean finished drum room, those are kind of scarce around here.

Right hand side over the FT for me. I had issues with cross-sticking like you but also didn't want to mar the hoop on my Ref BD. Now I find that I just like it better off to the far right.

Raise the snare so the stick hits the rim and not the bell. Or lower the bell so the stick doesn't hit it when you go for a rim click.

But that's if you want to keep the bell in that position. I prefer my CB just past my floor tom. It's there when I need it, out of the way when I don't.

I've tried it over on the right and don't really like it on that side. I have it on the left side cash cymbal stand, and use an LP cowbell clamp. I think it's kind of hard to place a cowbell, can't be too close IMO, and you have to have clearance to hit it (can't be too high up under a cymbal). At least for me.
