MI Blues Band, I'm in!
June 15th 2019, I auditioned for a pro blues band. And, I'm in! These guys are fantastic. Finally a group of well rounded, talented and experienced musicians without any drama. I haven't played live since 2007 and was teaching lessons. But, the kids are growing fast and it's time to get back at it.
I recently sold my 8 piece Pearl export set, but this is what I currently have;
5 Piece Vintage Pearl (Metallic purple/black, late 70s)
5 Piece Pacific Maple (natural finish) by DW
5 Piece Tama Rockstar (black)
5 Piece Sonor (clear acrylic, mid-70s)
Wanted to drop in and say hi! And let everyone know that I am very happy to be playing again! We've already wrote almost a full set of originals, have ties into radio and production companies as well. Looking at going into the studio around October to cut our first single and start spreading the word. One studio we are considering is Rust Belt out of Royal Oak MI who mixed Kid Rock, Hank Jr., John Fogerty, Bob Seger, etc...
