Cool, that's down near Wheeling right? That's just over an hour drive from my house (about 50 some odd miles). We've played in the Wheeling casino before, that was a pretty fun gig.

Yes. Then you definitely travel pretty far distances, huh?

I guess far distances for some, everything is like at least 30 min drive from me... I live in the middle of nowhere lol. The furthest we've gone for a gig was a couple weeks ago. We drove up to Mercer PA (just over 2 hour drive) to play at Plantation park camp ground. They gave us a camper to stay in and another lot to set tents up on. That was a pretty fun gig too, nice but different people there lol.

First gig on the list down. Went well aside from the power amp for the PA got shut off so we pretty much played a set with monitors only. Kinda sucked a bit, but it still worked. Luckily it was a small bar. I was literally touching the wall so I didn't get a picture from the back, but there were a lot of people there and they seemed to love it.

The other band Sundog did a great job for their first gig.

Now to do it all again tonight, but this will be a 4 hour 3 set gig as opposed to one 1.5 hour set like last night.

Only picture I took at the second gig. I was a bit disappointed with this one. It was a poker run and spaghetti dinner benefit, but everything was over and everyone left before we even got there to set up.... Oh well, it affected my mood a bit but by the second set I was playing right lol.

I've been experimenting with a pair of LED lights that my stepdad bought that he thought would replace our can lights, but they are no where near bright enough lol. So I've been setting them around my kit as back lighting at the last gig and as drum flood lights this time.

Looks cool. Lights get pricey fast. I put some led strips I bought off Amazon inside my shells, they look cool on a dark stage.

Thanks. I need to redo the light in my kick with an led strip. It's just not quite bright enough as is

Thanks Scott. Didn't see this post lol.

I updated the list a little bit, I'm playing in 2 bands this coming Saturday at the BOTB, we added a date in August in Chester WV and we were hired the play the "after party" of my aunts cd release on September 30th

I'm not sure sure how I feel about playing a house kit tomorrow, but it is what it is. I was at the bar today making sure the kit was in good shape and in tune.

I'm taking hardware, cymbals and snare(s) anyways. But I wanted to make sure it was good for the others that are sharing the kit. I found some missing cymbal sleeves and felts. The hi hat stand is missing a screw and I couldn't fix that, but again I'm taking my stands.
