Tonight I get to play again with the great Paul Warren at Jimmy's Side Tracked in Lebanon, Tennessee. Paul was 17 when he was hired by legendary Motown producer Norman Whitfield in Detroit who later relocated him to L.A.
Until a few years ago Paul was in Rod Stewart's band for over 10 years. He was in Joe Cocker's band when Cocker played Woodstock '94. Before that he toured with Tina Turner. He was music director for Richard Marx in the early 90's and has too many other credits to list.

    Paul with Joe Cocker:

Paul with Rod Stewart (and Joss Stone):

On keys will be Michael Whitaker, composer of film & TV scores. Michael has a studio in Franklin, TN but is also a sought after player. Here he is with the Tom Hemby Band in Nashville at 3rd & Lindsley. Some dude named Keith Carlock is on drums:

On bass will be Mike Joyce. Mike is also a composer and recording engineer with a ton of impressive credits. As well as being one of the best Mike might be about the coolest bass player I've ever jammed with!
EDIT: Found out the night we played Mike has been playing bass in Delbert McClinton's road band for the past 3 years.

Jimmy's is just a small, too smoky, neighborhood bar on the very outskirts east of Nashville but seriously, this is too sick!
