It is time for to invest in some custom in ears. Any one in particular you guys recommend? Also I recently started using the throne thumper and digging it!

What are you guys using as far as hearing and feeling things live?

I use ACS T3s when I can be arsed to mess around with an in ear setup, which admittedly, isn't often.

In regards to In Ears, I have been using Westone ES2's and really like them. For aesthetics, my wife is an audiologist and made sure the molds were low profile - they are very flush with my ears and don't stick out at all.

I was lucky in that the guy who took my molds was also a musician and had several pairs so made sure they wouldn't stick out. Because I just had to get my molds taken at a pharmacy by the hearing aid people.

That is fantastic! I must say that you are fortunate then. I remember seeing Brooks & Dunn on TV and thought, "Why in the world are things sticking out like that? Didn't their audiologist care how they look?"

My wife bought the ES2s for me somewhere around 2004, hence, I only recently began using them in conjunction with the Throne Thumper. Up until that point, I just added a little bit of boost via a 15-band EQ in select frequencies.

I've heard good things about 1964 ears, they're very well priced as well. I might order some triple drivers in the future.
