Picked up a used snare, FFX?

Hey guys, I've been wanting my own marching snare ever since I marched in high school '97-'00. I came across this drum in a pawn shop today and made it out the door for $50. Seems like a good deal. Appears to be a 12x14 FFX. Can anyone confirm? What heads do I need to run? I bought a Remo White Max and Ambassador Hazy Snareside. Is that a decent combo?

The hoops are scratched up pretty badly. Can they be sanded/polished? Anything else I need to know or check on?

Do you have a the big T-bar drum key I always see being used to crank up those heads?

And a harness?

And maybe a set of big ol' marching sticks in order to get big sound out of that tight head with little effort?

Not the harness, but yes on the sticks (Hardimans) and key.
