What are some of your favorite college drumlines in the northwest? Which ones sound the best to you, which ones do you prefer, which ones program is the best, which one is your favorite?

I don't know about in the north west, but i would have to say MTSU dominates all.

UNT is my personal favorite line. But I also like Phantom so it goes without saying...

I don't really think there are any big-name, nationally known drumlines around here. However, I know WSU has a decent one. And... U of Oregon if I remember correctly.

It's important to not choose a school just because of their drumline though.

Well...MTSU definately isn't bad. Not to familiar with northwestern drumlines though.

When it comes to competitive drumlines, for some reason the Northwest is just lousy. I live in the Seattle area and there are no real marching band or drumline competitions for high school, college, or anything. Although I have friends on the UW line and they are pretty decent.

Yeah marching up here is kinda skint. It's a little better on the east side of the mountains, but still it's nothing huge. I know a few high schools with good programs are Kamiak and Jackson High (I think). College wise, it's down to UW and WSU.

UW rprznt. I'm trying out for the line next year.

Woodinville High School has also been kind of a surprise upstart.

I'm trying out for UW too haha what instrument?
